An 8 days rush through this beautiful corner of Australia
The karri forests between Margaret River and Albany are extremely beautiful. The centre of this tingle tree has been completely burnt by a bushfire - yet, amazingly, the tree is still very alive.
Another huge tingle tree, called the Giant Tingle Tree, that has been burnt in the centre.

We also walked the famous Tree Top Walk between Walpole and Denmark.
The Tree Top Walk is 600 meters long and the ramp is 40 meters at its highest. We enjoyed it very much as you can see the karri forest from different levels (ground up to almost tree top).
We also walked the Ancient Empire walk which features red tingles that are 16 meters in circumference and up to 46 meters high.
After the forest, we headed for the beach. This shot was taken at Madfish Bay near Denmark.
